Everyone knows that taxi rides aren’t exactly cheap because you pay the flag down rate plus more as the meter counts the fare for the entire journey, until you reach your destination. So, you have to make sure you have money before riding taxi. If you don’t have much, a jeepney ride could bring you to your destination at a much cheaper price.
But one woman recently went viral for riding a taxi even if she knows she had no money and could only pay the driver in coins.

Angry at the passenger for taking the ride but refusing to pay the correct fare, taxi driver Friendy Tenoria shared a video of the encounter.
In the clip, the woman could be seen explaining that she has no money and that she has a lot of problems. Of course, that was not the driver’s fault, considering that she rode the taxi even if she knows she has no money.
But she really had no cash for the Php130 bill on the meter, angering the taxi driver who was just making an honest living. The woman continued to argue that she could not pay the fare, giving the driver some coins instead as ‘pampa-swerte’.

Quite understandably, the driver was whopping mad to be given Php5 for the ride that should have been paid Php130. After all, he’s not a jeepney driver; he drives a taxi!
But many netizens advised that he should just let this incident go because the woman was probably experiencing a lot of problems. Moreover, others said he would receive good karma for remaining calm and not doing anything bad to the woman despite what she did. Who knows - someone might tip him a huge amount of money in the next rides?
