That makes the cliche statements saying “You will die from heartbreak” literally true.
Whether we accept it or not, obesity is one of the health issues that many encounters. Due to this, experts suggest that there should be a healthy lifestyle to maintain good health and avoid obesity.

On the other hand, new studies show that experiencing a heartbreak can cause death more than obesity could.

Based on research

The isolation and loneliness can increase the person’s risk of death by about half than due to obesity, making it 30% higher. It was further discussed that the loneliness and isolation felt by single people have a great impact on ones’ physical and mental health.

Current trends now actually lead to these types of loneliness. Trends such as being single, grief in losing people, and immigration are part of such reasons.

Holt-Lunstad, a psychologist added:
“There is robust evidence that social isolation and loneliness significantly increase the risk of premature mortality, and the magnitude of the risk exceeds that of many leading health indicators.”

So instead of suffering from such and having a high risk to die, better find someone to make you feel filled and genuinely happy!

Life is too beautiful to be wasted feeling lonely and grieving for the things that are not really meant for you.
